We have seen the Big Five, and many, many more animals on our safari days.Lameck is a super professional who shows that he knows a lot about the animals and has an incredible eye for them.It has been amazing these 5 days, 4 in the Serengeti and 1 in Ngorongoro.Thank you Lameck, thank you for everything!

The Best Experience of my life Upon a broad research, we decided to book our safari trip with Safari Makers. It may be one of the best decisions we've ever made. Not only the price was great, but Lamek (our guide) and Prosper (our cook) were really deal changers in this. Appart of being ULTRA funny, Lamek was an expert in Tanzanian wildlife, and helped us see an incredible range of animals (more than 30 species) including Africa's Big 5, between the Serengueti and Ngorongoro.As a wildlife enthusiast, this experience marks a new beginning in my life. Not only I'd recommend but if I had the chance, I'd do it every year with them.

The BEST Safari Company. Safari Makers is an excellent company that I highly recommend. They are a smaller company and that makes them able to be up close and personalize your experience. From the beginning Johnny jr. helped us to book the exact experience we were looking for. Our guide Arubu was fantastic!!! So knowledgeable and helpful and attentive to everything that we needed. We saw the big five and much much more. I give them an A+++.

Outstanding Safari experience with Lameck and Hajj - Vegetarian food options! We’ve just come back from an unforgettable Serengeti safari, and we have to give a huge shout-out to our guide, Lameck, and our cook, Hajji. They made the whole experience absolutely brilliant.Lameck was fantastic—his knowledge of the Serengeti, the animals, and even the tiniest details of the landscape was second to none. Thanks to him, we saw everything we hoped for, from lions in the middle of hunting to close encounters with the Big Five. He’s got a great eye for spotting wildlife and always seemed to know where to be at just the right moment. On top of that, he was friendly, professional, and always up for answering our many questions. You could really tell how passionate he is about what he does and we were happy to say goodbye as friends when we left. Hajji, our cook, was equally impressive and catered to our vegetarian diet with varied meals that were better for no-meat diet than we expected. The meals he prepared were amazing, especially considering we were out in the wild. Every meal was delicious, varied, and more than we could have hoped for. Coming back to camp after a day of exploring to a hearty, freshly cooked meal was such a treat. Hajji was always smiling, and his warmth and hospitality really stood out.Thanks to lameck and Hajji, our safari was far more than we expected. Their hard work, dedication, and genuine care made it a truly memorable adventure. We couldn’t recommend them enough—they’re the best!

Excellent safari with very knowledgeable guide I went with my wife on a 7 day safari with Safari Makers. They custom made a safari for us. Lodging was very good, food excellent, and our guide, Costa (Simba) was extremely knowledgeable. He knew all the animals, and everyone in the parks. You will have an excellent experience with Safari Makers.

Amazing experience Amazing trip with an amazing tour guide and cook! The animals were extremely beautiful. The views from the serengeti were spectacular!! The food that was served were very delicious and tasty, lots of different fruits and meals.

A terrific safari, absolutely We had a terrific safari, 3 entire days of Serengeti, thanks to Safari Makers and of course our guide Hamisi. He proved to be a real expert, with his knowledge of the wild life, of the birds, of the nature, when it comes to drive in difficult circumstances and he provided us with extensive background information of Serengeti. Hamisi knows Serengeti like his pocket and clearly knows what it takes to be on the right spot on the right time (face to face with a pride of lions, seeing a lazy leopard on a branche and driving in the midst of wildebeasts, zebra’s and Thompson gazelles in the great migration. And that not alone, during our visit, he helped a lot of others by repairing their car, helping rangers-to-become with their internship and showing the way.

Best experience imaginable! If you’re reading this review, book with Safari Makers. You will thank me later! Our guide Costa (Simba) was a friend by the time the trip was over. He knew the answer to literally any animal question we could throw at him (and we threw a lot), and we saw pretty much every animal that there is to see: lion, giraffe, buffalo, leopard, elephant, rhino, wildebeest, zebra, antelopes….just to name a few. Absolutely incredible experience.

Unforgettable Experience Made a 4 day safari with safari makers and had the incredibly good fortune of having Costa Simba as our guide. He was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge not just about the flora and fauna of the Serengeti but about how to use the tools of conservation to combat the man made onslaught to this beautifully fragile ecosystem. Using his knowledge of the land and animal behavior, we were able to view all the animals one on one totally free of the crowds. In his other job, Costa works as an adviser to the Tanzanian government and travels the world giving lectures on conservation. I learned and saw so much in 4 days thanks to Costa. If you get the chance to take a tour with him, pounce on it like a Lion on a wildebeest. You will not be disappointed.

10/10 Would Recommend We participated in a 6 day / 5 night safari through the company Safari Makers and were INCREDIBLY pleased with our experience.Our tour guide's name is Costa Simba and to say he is knowledgeable is an understatement. The man is brilliant with navigating the bumpy Serengeti landscape while simultaneously pointing out all types of animal and plant species. For every elephant, baboon, ostrich, lion, zebra, cheetah, gazelle, wildebeest, warthog, giraffe, cape buffalo, and hyena we saw, he had a series of facts about their diet, behavioral patterns, strengths / weaknesses, and how they contribute to the Serengeti ecosystem.To give you a bit of context, all safari guides are required to have a certain level of education, training, and a specialty. Costa's specialties involve both ornithology (the study of birds) and the function of termite mounds in the Serengeti ecosystem. Every time he saw a unique hawk or bird, he would point it out, share the name, and explain facts about it. When we approached a series of termite mounds on the plains, he invited us out of the vehicle and told us about how they allow for both predators and prey to stand atop the mound to scout the extensive, flat landscape. I say this because his level of engagement and explanation helps to not only educate tourists about the Serengeti, but his advocacy for wildlife conservation in Africa raises awareness about the dire needs to adjust the way humans encroach on their surrounding environments.On top of his knowledge of African wildlife, I would argue that the reason Costa is the best tour guide through Safari Makers is because he puts in extra effort to ensure his customers / tourists are driven to the most remote, untapped regions of the Serengeti, which increases the chances of seeing animals. He understands that driving in areas that are more frequently visited tend to attract less wildlife. He thinks critically about both the animals' migratory patterns and the variable weather patterns, which help him decide the best routes for finding certain animals on a given day.Both Costa and Safari Makers truly exceeded our expectations.
